What first got you into riding?
I don’t know, so many things, just feeling good on a bike.

Out of all your video parts, web edits etc, do you have a favourite clip ever?
I think the gap 180 barspin in This is United.

What’s an average day in the life of Alex Valentino like?
Just don’t be at home, be somewhere else, see something for the first time (a landscape, a city)

If you had to choose one spot to ride for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I really don’t want to choose one single spot for the rest of my life, because I like to ride everything, but I have to choose my spot “SP3C” with all my friends.

What’s the best thing about where you currently live?
I have my family, my friends, my car.

What’s the worst thing about where you currently live?
I have nothing else.

What was the first contest you rode in, and where did you place?
My first contest was a dirt contest at “Treats” and I finished third.

What was your bike set up and clothing of choice at the time?
I was a really, really small dude, so everything was large for me at this time. and my bike was pretty clean, 2 pegs, a brake (no Gyro), blue frame, T1 bars.

What is your favourite and least favourite BMX related fad?
Thanks to BMX I travel a lot, so this is my favorite thing but sometime you don’t really have time for the rest.

If you could be ‘pro’ in any other sport what would it be and why?
Skate, because when I watch a skate video I just want go ride & skate.

Do you have any specific rituals or things you do before doing tricks / things you are scared of?
Oh yeah, so many things, I’m the kind of guy who puts bracelet on my ankle when I have a sprain (I have 2 at the moment, one red, yellow and green and one maya).

What was the scariest thing you ever done on your bike?
I don’t remember!

Outside of BMX, what is your favourite way to waste time?
Shooting.

Porsche 911.
